Vintage Dress Inspiration

In the late 40's or early 50's my Grandma Lila Lamb made this beautiful dress for herself. My mom wore it and I can remember it on her; and then my mom passed it on to my beautiful sister. This dress has stood the test of time and I am so excited to one day see it on my little girls. Especially my sweet Lila who was named after her great grandma.

I called my sister and said "Hey, want to have a photo shoot with your boys?" My sister asked if she should wear the dress and I said "Of course!"
I was instantly given vision of seeing my beautiful sister in the field I was taking them to. I prayed that the pictures I took would help my sister see the beauty that I see in her and that I know a lot of other people do too. That maybe, just maybe, she could see herself through the lens that God sees her and crafted her.

I got a handful or so of snaps and isn't my sister and this dress stunning?!
