Military Homecoming

I had never been to a military homecoming. I have heard how they are so wonderful to witness and I made sure I toughed myself up so I wouldn't fog up my camera with tears. (At least didn't fog up my camera).
I could feel the overwhelming anticipation from the families in the room and as the curtain began to lift there was no stopping the emotion. It was definitely a beautiful thing to witness.
